Virtual Computer Barn Upgraded
William Wan
Head of Teaching Technologies

The virtual barn platform has been upgraded with more powerful machines and storage. You can now login to the virtual barn environment within 30 seconds inside the campus using your own notebook, Android tablet or iPad!

Also, all virtual barn desktops have been upgraded to Windows 10 64-bit to provide better user experience and software support.
Setting up your device to use the virtual barn only takes a few minutes. Simple procedures can be found from Installation Guide and User Guide.
Besides using your own devices, virtual barn workstations are also available around the campus for you to access the virtual barn environment. More workstations have been installed in the academic concourse area, student lounge at G/F and student center at LG/5. You can also print from these workstations to any nearby satellite printers. You may find the location of these workstations in the ITSC web site
To avoid the crowd in computer barns, start using virtual barn now!
