HKUST students joined the World Gallery of Hope service learning program to Cambodia. They visited orphanages and engaged in voluntary work.

Students joined Sichuan – Light on Dreams to engage in voluntary teaching with children of the Yi people and visited local families.

The Citi International Case Competition was jointly organized by Citi Hong Kong and HKUST’s School of Business and Management and sponsored by the Citi Foundation. 20 outstanding teams from top business schools around the world participated in the Competition.

22 HKUST undergraduate students were awarded the Li & Fung Scholarships to go on exchange in prestigious overseas universities. A representative of the Victor & William Fung Foundation Limited, which sponsors the Scholarship, gave a briefing to applicants.

Dr Chan Sui Kau joined 130 students at the Chan Sui Kau and Chan Lam Moon Chun Hall for thanksgiving dinner.

Prof Reinhard Renneberg from the Department of Chemistry launched the Wisdom Science Corner at HKUST’s coffee shop to foster exchange of ideas.
