For the second time in two years, QS has ranked HKUST Asia's number one university. At about the same time, in a separate ranking by Times Higher Education for the world's under-50 universities, we came in third in Asia. Whether first or third in this continent, there is a certain consistency in how the world judges the overall excellence of this university. While we don't live for rankings, these latest international recognitions are proof positive that all our efforts dedicated to teaching, research and strategic planning are paying handsome dividends.
