Desks at the Learning Commons Named after UST Alumni
You may soon notice several desks in the Learning Commons with metal plaques bearing different names on them.  This is actually one of the many initiatives of our University's Alumni Office in raising funds for the Alumni Endowment Fund.  An accumulated donation of HK$50,000 or above is required to name a desk in the Learning Commons.

The creation of the Alumni Endowment Fund (AEF) is a very exciting development in the history of HKUST, as it is our first endowment fund to receive donations mainly from alumni.  The AEF is being used for various scholarships, awards and grants to provide opportunities to eligible students for furthering their interests, and fulfilling their dreams and aspirations.

The Chevalier Learning Commons is a popular place for students to learn, study and socialize.  We are pleased to be a partner of this fundraising initiative to help students.
