The summer is here – and it also marks the start of the second half of the HKUST Alumni Association A1 schedule. Thanks to the unfailing support of our alumni members, over 20 fabulous events have been held over the past few months, making a record of over 3 events every month. The overwhelming response to these activities has greatly encouraged us to strive to do even better for upcoming events. 

We gathered a team of enthusiastic alumni who share the same vision – Alumni Inspire Alumni – to form Team A1 in November 2012. Right after its inception, we presented our busy plan for the year, packed with various themed events related to Alumni Engagement, Community Service, Entrepreneur Circle and Young Alumni. The time and effort paid off and the response far exceeded our expectations.

We have created a number of breakthroughs in HKUSTAA history – the first to have a full team of 30 Executive Board of Directors; the first to organize a Beijing tour; the first to build an Alumni Entrepreneur Network; the first to set up a Young Alumni Team to bridge alumni with students to name just some!

We are encouraged to see more and more alumni joining the association. Do make full use of our website and Facebook page to keep abreast of A1’s activities and direction. Look forward to welcoming you soon!
