More than 40 alumni gathered at Hohai University in Nanjing to participate in the fourth AGM of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Postgraduates and Scholars Alumni Association (CEE PGSA) in March. Hohai University is playing a crucial role in modern civil engineering development in mainland China. 

 

Ming Haiyan, a graduate of PhD(CIVL) in 2011 and currently a professor at Shenzhen University, was elected President for the 2013-2015 session. The AGM also welcomed Professor Christopher Leung, Head of Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, who also joined past AGMs in Hangzhou in 2012 and Shenzhen in 2010, as well as Professor Zongjin Li and two retired faculties. Alumni were delighted to reconnect with each other and keep abreast of the astonishing developments of their alma mater, including its incredible world ranking and the fast expanding alumni network on the mainland.
