The Alumni Dragon has woken up in spring again! This season kicked off in early March when members got together at Hebe Haven and wished themselves every success in the coming months. Entering its sixth year, it is encouraging to see the team growing and going from strength to strength with 10 new members joining their already big family. Not only have the team participated in several major local races already and achieved remarkable results, but they also managed to get a full crew of 20 female paddlers to take part in a standard boat race, which was a rare record for a local alumni team in the territory. Members will take another challenge on August 4 – participating in the 35th Nago Dragon Boat Race in Okinawa!
